This summer I am going to try and do all of the crafty things that have been piling up on my To Do list. First up, wood transfer! I have seen the idea done all over and wanted to give it a shot. I got the instructions from PetaPixel and it worked out great (after a few failed attempts).
I did this fun little project with my mom and we learned some helpful tips along the way:
1. Use a THICK layer of mat medium before laying your print down.
2. Allow it to fully dry (we waited over night to avoid the growing anticipation)
3. Rub Rub Rub! Keep rubbing until all of the paper has been removed
Each print we made turned out better than the one before. They are so much fun and make great gifts for friends and family. It was the perfect project to start off the summer! =)
